Fun with Claude
My working loop is simple. I design in Figma. I prototype in Cursor and Claude Code when a flow needs to be felt, not clicked through. If the prototype holds up, the code goes to engineering as a starting point, not a picture of one. The flashcard builder inside Human Firewall shipped this way. So did unsaid, which I designed and built alone, end to end.
AI does the effort. I keep the judgement. That's the same principle I design into products, and it's how I work too. I decide what gets generated, what gets hand-built, and what gets thrown away.
And plenty gets thrown away. The first flashcard builder I built looked finished and was the wrong thing, because a polished card is not an editable one. I went back to the base and rebuilt it component first, by hand.

I prefer understanding things before reacting. I like noticing patterns, sitting with unclear ideas, and bringing structure to chaos. Messy problems don't overwhelm me. They make me curious.
I learn through experiments rather than theory. Trying things and seeing what actually works matters more to me than assumptions. Outside work, I spend a lot of time with my dog, June. Being around her quietly, without words, is where I slow down and observe. That mindset shapes how I think about people and systems.
